Grapes from the selected Furlanovo vineyard in the village of Višnjevik. The terraced vineyard planted with Rebulo grows on a classic apoka and has been cultivated for a decade according to the principles of sustainable production. It is a very carefully cultivated and grassed vineyard in an excellent southern sunny location at an altitude of 150m, 25-30 years old.

The grapes were hand-picked in early October, when rebula reached full maturity – as the last white variety in the cellar, at the same time as the late red varieties. In early October, the fresh rebula must was filled into barrels, to which whole grapes, which represented approximately 20% of the volume, had been previously added. Fermentation took place at slightly higher temperatures, between 17° and 18°C. After fermentation was complete, the wine remained in contact with the berries and macerated for 10 months. In the final phase, the wine matured in large oak barrels until bottling.

The wine is golden yellow in color with greenish hues. The full body and lively freshness, so characteristic of rebulaa, are complemented by delicate notes of grapefruit and herbs. The wine combines ancient Brda tradition and modern knowledge through the interpretation of one of the most prominent Slovenian oenologists, Darinko Ribolica.

Serve the wine chilled at 12°-14°C. We recommend it with white fish dishes, seafood, vegetable risottos and pasta with vegetable sauces.
